Somehow I ended up working for a startup again. It wasn't something I actively sought. A couple of former business associates came to my very good friend GM and said, "hey we'd like to do this thing, you in?" And since he just got laid off from the media company he was working for, he said, "sure." And then these associates asked GM, "You know anybody?" And he said, "remember Chuck?" And they're like, "Oh, yeah."
And so here I am.
The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my journey through the mania and chaos that is a startup in the weird climate that is 2008. But, it's still a dotcom startup, so now we're going to party like it's 1999.
The idea is to talk about the technologies and processes that I'm relearning in a way that doesn't spill the beans about who we are and what we're doing. Hopefully you'll find it interesting.
